sam keeps getting chubbier. more rolls appear everyday. and everyday i find one i have apparently been neglecting during bath time. ew. and he also is rolling. and sometimes mommy doesn't notice. last night i laid him on the very edge of the dining room carpeting with a few toys while i took a few minutes to make his bottles. he spent most of the time fussing and i finally realized he had rolled over and he was now face first on the hardwood floors. nice. i just keep racking up points for mother of the year. sheesh. usually he rolls just once. so he is not really mobile yet. but i know it is coming and i need to babyproof all over again.
carly fell on new year's day and smacked her front teeth into the hardwood floor in the dining room. she left two little tooth marks in the floor and the floor left her with some very bloody gums. her teeth were pushed back a bit and we are waiting to see what happens. the dentist was confident they would move back, although they may discolor as a result of the trauma. thankfully they are only baby teeth.
and leo's run-ins with the floor seem to be on a daily basis. and so far, not serious. he is very into laughing lately, and he thinks he is the worlds greatest comedian. half of what he says is followed by "just kidding" and peals of laughter.
