Sick 'n tired

I seem to have come down with a horrible cold. Not sure which of the munchkins shared theirs with me - both have been a bit under the weather in the past week - but share they did. I came home from work yesterday and the family did their best to take care of me.

Pat:

• made me chicken noodle soup and toast
• brought me kleenex's and advil
• kept my water glass full
• let me sleep all afternoon

Carly:

• stroked my hair and gave lots of hugs
• fetched me kleenex's
• made me lots of cards
• looked very concerned whenever she talked about my cold
• cuddled up and took a nap with me

Leo:

• woke me up from my nap when Daddy brought him into the bedroom by yelling uh uh uh uh and pointing. The yelling and pointing started again when he spied Carly laying behind me.
• cuddled with me on the couch for 30 seconds before deciding that climbing up and down and up and down and up and down was much more fun
• let me rock him to sleep, giving me time to wonder when did my baby get so big?

And speaking of babies getting big, we watched some videos of Carly as a baby - what a chubby, beautiful girl she was. It is funny to see at even 4 months she has the exact same personality as she has now - she is either smiling, laughing, happy or she is mad, mad, mad. And watching that video makes me realize one other thing - our house was ugly. Seriously. Honey, you have done a fabulous job on those home improvements!
